These guides follow the shipped desktop-and-daemon workflow. AO's desktop app is the main control surface; the CLI is a thin client for automation and agent-driven coordination.
Per-role agents
Choose different worker and orchestrator harnesses.
Parallel work
Run isolated sessions across issues and projects.
CI recovery
See how failing checks reach the correct Chat or Terminal UI session.
Review loop
Combine GitHub feedback with AO reviewer-agent runs.
Lifecycle automation
Understand built-in deduplication, notifications, and mode-aware delivery.
Multi-project
Manage repositories, workspaces, and Scratch from one desktop.
AO sessions can use structured Chat or the agent's native Terminal UI. Chat-capable Claude Code and Codex sessions can switch between them while retaining the same AO session and worktree. The native mobile app uses the same session model through the authenticated Connect Mobile listener.
